Dalam amanat Pangarmabar Laksamana Muda TNI Aan Kurnia, S.Sos., yang dibacakan Danlantamal I Belawan menyampaikan bahwa, upacara penurunan ular-ular perang KRI merupakan upacara khas tradisi TNI Angkatan Laut yang menandakan berakhirnya operasional KRI dalam melaksanakan pengabdian dan menjaga perairan Yurisdiksi Nasional.

“KRI Pati Unus-384 merupakan kapal kombatan jenis Parchim yang dibangun di galangan Penne Werft, Jerman Timur tahun 1983 dan masuk di jajaran TNI AL pada Tahun 1993. Kapal di bawah pembinaan satuan Kapal Eskorta Koarmabar ini berusia 34 Tahun dan selama 24 Tahun dengan kemampuan sebagai anti kapal selam”, jelas Pangarmabar.
Diakhir amanatnya Pangarmabar Laksamana Muda TNI Aan Kurnia, S.Sos., menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih dan penghargaan setinggi-tingginya kepada Komandan serta Prajurit KRI Pati Unus-384 atas pengabdian yang telah ditunjukan.
